FailForGood Refund Policy

What you are charged, and when

FailForGood does not sell goods or subscriptions. In challenges with an optional money stake, you save a payment card when you join, but you are only ever charged if you fail your challenge and then confirm the payment yourself in the app. We never charge your card automatically. The charge appears on your statement as FAILFORGOOD.

Where the money goes

Paid stakes are donated to the charity chosen by the challenge winners (or retained by FailForGood where a participant chose the "Support FailForGood" option), minus payment and transfer costs and our 3% platform fee. See the Terms of Service for the full fee breakdown.

If you think a charge is wrong

• Before paying: if you believe your challenge result is wrong, use the appeal option in the app. Your payment obligation is paused while we review the appeal, and it is cancelled entirely if the appeal is upheld.
• After paying: if you believe you were charged in error (for example a technical fault or a duplicate charge), contact us at support@ivymiclabs.com within 14 days of the charge. If we confirm the error, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

After funds are donated

Once a stake has been passed on to the chosen charity, we are generally unable to refund it, except where the charge was made in error or a refund is required by law.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
