FailForGood is operated by IvyMic Labs Ltd. This page explains how to request deletion of your FailForGood account and associated data.
How to delete your account
In the app (fastest): Open FailForGood → Settings →
Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm. Your account is
deleted immediately.
By email: If you can't access the app, email support@ivymiclabs.com from the email address on your account and request deletion. We will action it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, username and email address
- Your profile picture
- All proof photos and videos you uploaded
- Your sign-in identity with our authentication provider
What is kept, in anonymised form
To keep shared challenges intact for the other people who took part, records such as the challenges you joined, judgements and chat messages are retained but anonymised — your name, username and email are removed and replaced with an anonymous placeholder, so you can no longer be identified.
Retention
Personal data is removed immediately when you delete your account. Anonymised records are retained for as long as the associated shared challenge exists. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
